1) Dovico – Time Sheet

2) klok - When you think about your day or week, does it feel like it is getting “filled-up” with work? We thought so too. That’s why Klok shows your time entries as blocks that fill up your days very much like your calendaring application works. Most applications just let you enter the total time spent on a project per day in a spreadsheet view. The problem with that approach is that you potentially lose some valuable information.

3) Rachota - Rachota is a portable application for timetracking different projects. It runs everywhere. It displays time data in diagram form, creates customized HTML reports or analyses measured data and suggests hints to improve user’s time usage. The totally portable yet personal timetracker.

4) Time Assistant - Time-Assistant is professional timesheet software for your business.
It is a daily time tracking solution designed to reduce the drudgery of recording, analyzing and reporting associated with everyday working routine.
With Time-Assistant you can easily manage employee timesheets and expenses, calculate salaries, prepare project estimates, get invoices based on personal or client work rates.

5) clicktime - ClickTime Web Timesheet simply cuts costs—no server, no database, no support staff. With no software to install, time and expense tracking can be completed from any internet-connected computer. Since your data is stored in our secure servers, you can focus your time on management rather than time tracking headaches.

    Hi Vikas,

Another good time tracking software is Fanurio. Fanurio has a few reminders to help you start, resume or stop the timer. It also has idle time detection and it can be used on Windows, Mac and Linux.

Check out Worksnaps (http://www.worksnaps.net). It not only tracks time, but make the logged time verifiable by capturing work activities. It is very useful if you have a geographically dispersed team (for example, you are hiring remote workers or virtual assistants).

When I recognized the importance of time tracking, I had a difficult time choosing which one to use. Some of the design and interface scares me. I found myself struggling just to start.
My choice was down to simple, clean design and user-friendly features. It has been two years now that I am using Freckle (http://letsfreckle.com) as my time tracking tool and I would say it has been very helpful especially when it comes to invoicing and managing time. I don’t see myself changing tool any time soon.

I realize this is an older list of time tracking apps, but I wanted to add Intervals to the list of recommendations. It’s a great online time tracking app, developed and used by our web design agency.

Another best time tracking software I could share is “Time Doctor”. We installed this in different platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux) in our company and so far we are happy with its features. It is also very useful if you are running an outsourcing business to closely monitor your workers time and output.

I do agree with all of the concepts you have presented to your post. They’re very convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts are too quick for starters. Could you please prolong them a bit from next time? Thanks for the post.
